What's the Holdup?

Escaping Microsoft is a very involved process. Basically, I have to find/develop an ecosystem and workflows for establishing and developing my "Online Brand" or identity. In addition to managing my personal growth and day-to-day life. And let's not forget, Artificial Intelligence and how it may be used (or not) in my workflows.

After the last couple of months researching, reviewing, testing and evaluating:

• operating systems
• office suites
• development tools
• note-taking apps
• mind-mapping apps

I have come up with the following checklist for escaping Microsoft:

• Replace Microsoft OneDrive
• Migrate to new Cloud Storage
• Replace Microsoft Office applications with open-source
• Replace Windows
• Acquire, install and configure development tools for the chosen operating system.
• DO NOT Renew Microsoft 365!
• Settle into a base ecosystem for online presence.
